Generative Pulse

Muck Rack's AI-narrative monitor — see where your brand shows up across LLMs and who shapes the answer.

Not yet rated

Generative Pulse is Muck Rack's venture for tracking brand visibility inside AI-generated answers. It shows where a brand appears across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, how that visibility shifts over time, and — distinctively for a comms tool — which journalists and outlets are shaping the AI narrative. Its dataset now exceeds 15 million AI-response citations across a broad prompt set, and in March 2026 Muck Rack used it to launch AI Visibility Badges that tier journalists and outlets by how often AI cites them, surfaced right inside Muck Rack's research, pitching, and reporting workflows.

What it does

Generative Pulse monitors how brands appear across major LLMs and — crucially for PR teams — identifies which journalists and outlets influence those AI answers. It reframes media monitoring for the answer-engine era: not just who wrote about you, but who is shaping what the AI says about you.

What you get

  • Brand-visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude
  • Visibility trends over time to see where the AI narrative is moving
  • Attribution of which journalists and outlets shape AI-generated answers
  • AI Visibility Badges (launched March 2026) that tier sources by citation frequency
  • Badges and data surfaced inside Muck Rack research, pitching, and reporting

Why it matters

This is the media-intelligence category catching up to GEO. Generative Pulse connects AI-answer visibility to the media list itself — letting comms teams pitch the journalists whose coverage most often feeds LLM answers. For PR/comms audiences it’s a natural complement to Zen’s AI-visibility reporting and a direct signal of where earned-media strategy is heading. (Distinct from Muck Rack’s Media List Agent already on the stack.)
