Cision AI Coverage Analysis

AI teammate inside CisionOne that turns raw media coverage into narratives, themes, and a recommended next move.

Cision AI Coverage Analysis (launched June 18, 2026) is a new AI capability inside the CisionOne media intelligence platform that helps communicators move from monitoring to action. Instead of handing back a wall of clips, it reads a brand's earned coverage, surfaces the key narratives and themes shaping the story, and identifies what to do next. It sits alongside Cision's AI Visibility Dashboard (launched July 14, 2026, powered by Trajaan), which tracks how brands appear across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Overview, and Mistral — giving comms teams both a coverage lens and an AI-answer lens in one platform.

What it does

Cision AI Coverage Analysis reads a brand’s media coverage the way a strategist would — pulling out the dominant narratives, spotting the themes driving the story, and recommending the next action — so comms teams spend less time reading clips and more time acting on them.

What you get

  • Automatic narrative and theme extraction from earned coverage
  • A “so what / now what” recommendation layer instead of raw clip counts
  • Companion AI Visibility Dashboard tracking brand presence across 8+ AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Google AI Overview, Mistral)
  • Native inside the CisionOne workflow

Why it matters

Monitoring tools have historically stopped at “here’s your coverage.” Cision is one of the incumbents pushing into agentic analysis — telling teams what the coverage means and what to do about it — while adding LLM-answer tracking on the same platform. For comms leaders already inside the Cision ecosystem, it’s a meaningful shift from measurement to action.
